Angel has finally found a clue to her artifact but before she can use it, desert nomads kidnap her and hold her hostage in their camp.

At the camp, Angel meets and befriends a scholar. He shares legends of an ancient city he’s been searching for his entire life, hidden somewhere in the Sea of Sands.

To make things worse, the camp is attacked by a giant sand viper.

Will Angel escape? Will Lester ever find his lost city, or will the sand viper destroy all his research? Will Angel ever find out what the mysterious gear symbol means?
