You May be Putting Your Child at Risk.

Reading is the most important skill a child will learn. Not only does it allow them more access to the world and ideas around them, but knowing how to read well and early on will put your child one step ahead on their road to success.

But did you know that 67% of all Grade 4 students cannot read at a proficient level?

According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress, of those 67%, 33% read at just the BASIC level, and 34% cannot even achieve reading abilities of the lowest basic level!

If you delay your child's reading skill development until they enter school, you’re putting your child at risk.

Your child’s education is in your hands, and Children Learning Reading can help with that.

Children Learning Reading is based on a super simple and extremely effective system that will teach even 2- and 3-year-old children to read.

This unique reading program was developed by two amazing parents and reading teachers, Jim and Elena, who successfully taught their four children to read before turning 3 years old.

The reading system they developed is so effective that by the time their daughter was just 4 years 2 months old, she was already reading at a Grade 3 level.

Their reading system is nothing like the infomercials you see on TV, where babies appear to read, but who have only learned to memorize a few word shapes.

This program will teach your child to effectively decode and read phonetically, giving them a big head start. It will help you teach them to read and help them develop reading skills years ahead of similar aged children.

The creators have videos on their website to prove it, and testimonial videos of the amazing progress of other children using their system.

However, this is not a quick fix solution where you put your child in front of the TV or computer for hours and hope that your child learns to "read"... somehow...

This is a reading program that requires you, the parent, to be involved. But the results are absolutely amazing and worth every minute spent. Thousands of parents have used the Children Learning Reading program to successfully teach their children to read.

All it takes is 10 to 15 minutes a day!

How Does This Amazing Program Work?

Jim designed the program to be taught to your child in two stages, and each stage comes with its own instruction book and step-by-step lessons.

  • Stage 1 helps your child develop all the important foundational skills of learning to read and read fluently.
  • Stage 2 has slightly more advanced lessons that help advance your child's already impressive reading skills developed from stage 1 lessons.

Stage 1

There are 28 lessons in Stage 1. They start by introducing them to the alphabet letters and sounds in a stepped, sensible, and intuitive order. Then it moves on to very simple words and blending exercises. As your child progresses, the lessons slowly introduce more complicated words, sentences, stories, and rhymes.

Stage 2

There are 22 lessons in Stage 2. One of the primary focuses of this stage is teaching your child letter combinations, also known as digraphs. The words, sentences, lesson stories, and rhymes here are more advanced, and will substantially improve your child's reading skills and reading fluency.

Benefits

What does this program have that other reading systems don't?

  • It doesn't force your child to explicitly memorize any phonics rules, which will not only make reading less daunting, but more enjoyable.
  • The step-by-step lessons are designed to be quick and effective. Each lesson typically takes no longer than 5 to 10 minutes to complete, and some lessons take just 2 or 3 minutes to complete. These quick lessons are much more effective for children as they keep to the length of the child's short attention span.

If you spend 10 to 15 minutes each day consistently teaching your child to read, in just 12 short weeks, you’ll get to see your effort paying off and have given your child the most important skill in life—reading.

The Children Learning Reading program gets my 100% recommendation.

Give your child a step up in life with a solid reading foundation!

But does it really work?

For any product, I believe the best way to get a genuine impression is to learn about the experience of previous customers.

Jim has plenty of testimonial reviews and videos on his website (linked above), but here I'd like to share the experience of a mother and how her two daughters, aged 3 and 5, learned to read in just 4 months—and did so using the Children Learning Reading program.

For context, the creator of the program, Jim Yang, has been teaching kids—and teaching parents how to teach their kids—to read for quite some time. And during the summer months, he runs a reading camp for children 4 to 7 years old, with the occasional 3-year-old or 8-year-olds who are having reading difficulties.

To complete both stages of the reading camp, it typically takes about 4 months—attending 3 times a week in hour-long sessions.

The two girls attended this summer reading camp.

When they started in June, the older sister was 5 years 4 months, and the younger sister was just 2 years 11 months old. Most reading teachers probably wouldn’t even consider working with a 2-year-old—since when can a 2-year-old learn to read!?!

Well, no problem for Jim; he’d taught all of his own children to read by age 3.

So when their mom asked if she could bring her almost 3-year-old, Jim said, "Sure, why not? I'll have both of them reading for you in a few months."

Certainly, she had a healthy degree of skepticism.

But by the end of the 4 months, after completing the Children Learning Reading program, her older daughter was reading at a Grade 2 level (reading age 7.3 years), and her younger daughter was reading at a Grade 1 level (reading age 6.8 years).

Amazing, isn’t it?

You can find more success stories and videos on Jim's website, showing the great progress of kids who use the program.

But I’m sure you want more details on the sisters’ experience and the process they went through.

The Initial Reading Assessment

At the start of the reading camp, Jim always does a quick reading assessment. The younger sister didn’t need an assessment as, being just 2 year 11 months old, she didn’t know any letters or sounds yet. The older sister knew most of the alphabet letter names and "sounds", but was pronouncing some of those sounds incorrectly.

No surprises there, as almost every single child that attends the reading camp has been taught many phonemes incorrectly, either at preschool or in Kindergarten. Such is the state of our education system.

Learning to Read

Jim’s system of teaching kids to read uniquely combines synthetic phonics with phonemic awareness to produce amazing results in children of all ages. He used this with the girls as well.

Being 3 years apart, there was a big difference in how quickly the older sister learned compared to her younger sister. They started off the Children Learning Reading program as usual, and after a few lessons, Jim made adjustments to accommodate for their different learning paces.

Obviously, one of the initial goals was to immediately correct the incorrect sounds the older sister had learned in preschool! She was starting kindergarten in September, after all.

After just the first week, the older sister caught on and was doing great with phonemic awareness activities such as blending and segmenting. The little sister, being a lot younger, took about 2.5 weeks before she started catching on.

The Results

By week 4, the older sister was already reading simple, short, decodable sentences, and the younger sister (just turned 3 by then) was able to phonetically read many, many words.

After 2 months, every time they came to their lessons, their mom (always with a big smile) was telling stories about how the 2 of them were reading everywhere they went!

After 3 months—about 3/4 of the way through completing the reading program—the older sister was already reading short stories independently and the little sister could read (phonetically) an amazing amount of words, sentences, and even some very simple short stories. Keep in mind she just turned 3.

At 3 months is when their reading abilities really took off, and their mom could just not believe the type of results she was seeing in her children. She said again and again how she hadn’t thought it would be even remotely possible.

But just like it was possible for them, it’s possible for you and your children. You just have to use the right techniques and methods.

One of Jim's favorite comments he received about his teaching methods is that: "It totally demystifies reading."

The girls completed the reading camp by end of September, and their mom said it was unbelievable how far ahead both of her daughters were compared to other kids.

Teaching kids to read is something that Jim does extremely well. And while you and your child may not live in the same city (or even country) as him to attend his classes, his Children Learning Reading program is available for parents to purchase online.

Thousands of parents have used his methods to successfully teach their children to read with amazing results.

He has a short video presentation on his website for you to learn more about the Children Learning Reading program.

Here's what the girls’ mom had to say about their experience:

My children loved the program and so did I. I am extremely pleased with the results. My children started the program at 2 years 11 months and 5 years 4 months with Jim, and neither child was reading before the program. My children loved the program, and Jim is an excellent teacher. After 4 months, my 3-year-old is reading at a grade 1 level, and my 5-year-old is at a Grade 2-3 level. I never expected such amazing results.

Jim's program takes the mystery out of teaching children how to read. It is so well organized that any child can learn to read with it. The outcome exceeded my expectations. At the start of the program, I thought my 3-year-old might learn some letters and my 5-year-old would learn some words, but after completing the program in 4 months, my 3-year-old could read long sentences and simple short stories, and my 5-year-old could read level 2 books on her own.

Thanks,

Parminder S
